Hospital-Quality Nursing, Delivered at Home

Skilled nursing brings the clinical judgment and hands-on expertise of a licensed nurse directly to the home. It's ideal for individuals recovering from surgery or hospitalization, managing complex or chronic conditions, or requiring treatments and monitoring that go beyond what personal care alone can provide.

At Golden Years, every skilled-nursing client receives an individualized, physician-informed care plan developed and overseen by our nursing leadership — including our founder, a BSN-prepared Registered Nurse. We collaborate closely with your doctors and specialists, document carefully, and adjust the plan as your needs change.

Who benefits from skilled nursing? Clients who need wound care, injections, infusion or catheter support, careful medication management, disease monitoring, or a safe, supervised transition home after a hospital stay.

Clinical Leadership

Care You Can Trust

Our skilled nursing program is led by Rose Mbote, BSN, RN, RND, PDN, founder and CEO of Golden Years. As a Registered Nurse, Registered Nurse Delegator, and experienced Private Duty Nurse, she brings the clinical depth needed to oversee complex, high-acuity care at home.

Every nurse and aide who joins our team is carefully screened and background-checked, oriented to our standards of practice, and supervised on an ongoing basis. Skilled tasks are performed or overseen by licensed staff, and delegated tasks follow Washington State's Nurse Delegation requirements. The result is care that is not only compassionate, but clinically sound and accountable.
