Compassion
We lead with empathy. Every client is treated as a whole person with a story, preferences, and dignity worth protecting.
A nurse-led home health and supported living agency built on compassion, clinical excellence, and an unwavering respect for every person we serve.
Golden Years Home Health Supported Living LLC was founded with a simple but powerful conviction: that every person deserves to age, heal, and live with dignity — in the comfort and familiarity of their own home. For too many families, navigating care for an aging parent, a recovering spouse, or a loved one living with a chronic condition can feel overwhelming and impersonal. We exist to change that experience.
Our agency was created by a practicing registered nurse who spent years at the bedside — in hospitals, in homes, and alongside families during their most vulnerable moments. Time and again, she saw the same truth: that the best outcomes come not just from clinical skill, but from care delivered with patience, presence, and genuine human warmth. Golden Years was built to combine both.
Every service we offer — from skilled nursing and nurse delegation to personal care and supported living — is grounded in a registered-nurse framework. Care plans are clinically informed, caregivers are trained and supervised, and families are treated as partners. We don't simply provide a service; we step into a relationship of trust at one of life's most important crossroads.
Today, we are proud to serve families throughout Sumner and the greater Pierce and King County region of Washington State, helping our clients remain safe, supported, and independent for as long as possible.
Rose Mbote, BSN, RN, is the Founder and Director of Golden Years Home Health Supported Living LLC. With more than 30 years of nursing experience, she is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality, nurse-led care that promotes dignity, independence, and quality of life for every person she serves.
Originally trained as a Registered Nurse in Kenya, Rose successfully transitioned her nursing license to the United States and went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Drawing on decades at the bedside, she founded Golden Years Home Health Supported Living LLC with a clear vision: to deliver skilled nursing, home health, nurse delegation, caregiver training, and personalized in-home care together under one trusted organization.
Rose's vision for Golden Years grew out of a deep belief that home is where healing happens best. Throughout her nursing career, she witnessed how the right combination of clinical oversight and genuine compassion could transform a patient's recovery, preserve their independence, and bring profound relief to their families. She founded Golden Years to deliver exactly that — professional, nurse-supervised care infused with heart.
As a Registered Nurse Delegator, Rose personally champions Washington State's Nurse Delegation Program, enabling clients with complex needs to safely receive certain clinical tasks from trained, supervised aides — so they can remain at home rather than in an institutional setting. As an experienced Private Duty Nurse, she understands one-on-one demands, around-the-clock care and the importance of matching the right caregiver to each family.
Under Rose's leadership, Golden Years maintains a culture of accountability, continuous training, and HIPAA-conscious practice. She remains personally involved in care planning and quality oversight, ensuring that the agency's standards reflect the same care she would want for her own family.
